Binary Subtraction

In subtracting binary you need to remember the following:

0 - 0 = 0
1 - 0 = 1
1 - 1 = 0
10 - 1 = 1

Then we apply the rule of how to subtract the decimal numbers.

What if i have 10001 - 111. What is the answer & solution?

why 1-0=0? and 10-1=1? how can it happen?

who teach you that 1-0 is equal to zero ?
10 is equal to 2 then 1 is equal to 1

2- 1 = 1 thats all

10001 - 111 is equal to 1010

Here is the solution:

1 0 0 0 1
1 1 1
1 0 1 0

We just simply borrow 1 sa katabing binary na magiging 10 na equivalent sa 2 so kung babawasan un ng 1 magiging 1. Sana nakuha mo ung explanation thank you

Convert it first to its original value then subtract convert it again to binary form

I didn't quite get it. How does 10 - 1 becomes 1?

Zeros and ones will conquer my mind, and speak computer for the next few days. Interesting tho

I think this is important for those students who are taking ICT major. Oh wait, I'm one of them!

This can also be very intruiging. Most people who just use computers for fun will never understand the true fun inside the computer #ictislife
